Welcome to Fifth Grade Reading!
I am currently teaching five classes of reading workshop this year. This is an exciting year for me as it will be my twenty-seventh year as a teacher and I love teaching more and more each year. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas where I attended the University of Houston. During that time, I met my wonderful husband, Patrick. We have a daughter named Katie that will be attending Lone Star College. I am a charter member of Williams Elementary. I began teaching here in fourth grade as a language arts teacher. I moved up to fifth grade with a wonderful group of students seven years ago. I can't wait to meet you and hear all about your summer. I am looking forward to a great year of learning and growing together.
